Colorado High School Football - Mullen thwarted by Legacy
October 12, 2024: Broomfield, CO 80023 Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 14-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Legacy advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Lightning travel to Rangeview (Aurora, CO) to play the Raiders in a non-league battle on Monday, October 21. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Rangeview won 32-0 in their recent non-league battle against Horizon (Thornton, CO)
The Mustangs now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Erie for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 19. Mullen will play a Tigers team coming off a 28-6 non-league win over Rangeview (Aurora, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
