October 12, 2024: Shelton, WA 98584 Kelso Hilanders (Kelso, WA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Shelton Highclimbers (Shelton, WA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Kelso moves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Hilanders host Mountain View (Vancouver, WA) to clash with the Thunder in a 4A Greater St. Helens test on Tuesday, October 15. The Thunder come into the test with a record of 6-6. Mountain View won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Heritage (Vancouver, WA)
The Highclimbers now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centralia for a 2A Evergreen test on Tuesday, October 15. Shelton will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Tumwater (Tumwater, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
