Massachusetts High School Football - Cardinal Spellman can't hold off Bishop Fenwick
October 12, 2024: Brockton, MA 02302 Bishop Fenwick Crusaders (Peabody, MA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host Cardinal Spellman Cardinals (Brockton, MA), 8-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Bishop Fenwick improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Crusaders host Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 19. The Shamrocks go into the battle with a record of 1-2.
The Cardinals now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington Catholic for a non-league battle on Sunday, October 20. Cardinal Spellman will play a Cougars team coming off a 32-8 non-league win over Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
