Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Harbor Creek knocks off Athens
October 12, 2024: Harborcreek, PA 16421 The Harbor Creek Huskies soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Athens Wildcats to 0 in the Huskies non-league victory on Saturday.
The Huskies now hold a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Girard for a District 10 Region 3 bout on Monday, October 14. Harbor Creek will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to North East (North East, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-9.
With the loss, Athens moves to 8-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Williamson (Tioga, PA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 15. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Williamson lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA)
