Illinois High School Soccer - Bloomington toppled by Jacksonville
October 12, 2024: Jacksonville, IL 62650 Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Jacksonville advances its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Crimsons host Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL) to clash with the Braves in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. The Braves come into the test with a record of 10-7. Mt. Zion won 3-0 in their recent league test against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL)
The Purple Raiders now have a 10-12 record. They take the field next when they host Centennial for a Big Twelve test on Tuesday, October 15. Bloomington will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 10-7.
