October 12, 2024: Birmingham, AL 35242 The Briarwood Christian Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Robertsdale Golden Bears to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 17-11 record. They play next when they travel to Shades Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 12. Briarwood Christian will play a Mounties team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Mounties record now stands at 14-20.
With the loss, Robertsdale drops to 10-22 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to play the Pirates in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 16.
