In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Donovan Catholic Griffins volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Brick Memorial Mustangs.

The Griffins (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Caseys enter the non-league challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Red Bank Catholic got by Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) in a Shore A - South challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Brick Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Williamstown (Williamstown, NJ).
