October 12, 2024: Burbank, CA 91506 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) and the visiting Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA), observed Burroughs's volleyball team top Santa Fe by a count of 2-0.
The Bears (15-10) will now prepare for their contest against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors enter the non-league contest with a 29-6 record. In their last contest, Taft notched a victory over Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Chiefs battle the Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12. Santa Fe will attempt to move on its 25-8 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 15-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Pioneer (Whittier, CA).
