Illinois High School Volleyball - Schaumburg can't get by East Peoria
October 12, 2024: Schaumburg, IL 60194 East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, East Peoria improves its record to 12-16 on the season. The Raiders host Elgin (Elgin, IL) to face the Maroons in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Maroons go into the test with a record of 3-16. Elgin lost 2-0 in their recent league test against West Aurora (Aurora, IL)
The Saxons now own a 3-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fremd for a Mid-Suburban test on Tuesday, October 15. Schaumburg will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 22-6.
