In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Fullerton Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Sandhills/Thedford Knights.

The Warriors (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Centura (Cairo, NE). The Centurions enter the non-league challenge with a 8-14 record. In their last challenge, Centura was tipped by St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the West Holt Huskies (Atkinson, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Sandhills/Thedford will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE).
