Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Gaston Day Spartans (Gastonia, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pickens improves its record to 15-13 on the season. The Blue Flame travel to Clover (Clover, SC) to encounter the Blue Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12.
