Hoosic Valley Indians (Schaghticoke, NY) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Glens Falls Black Bears (Glens Falls, NY), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hoosic Valley advances its record to 11-4 on the season. The Indians travel to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY) to face the Cadets in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Cadets go into the test with a record of 6-6. La Salle Institute won 3-0 in their recent league test against Cohoes (Cohoes, NY)

The Black Bears now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hudson Falls for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Glens Falls will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Queensbury (Queensbury, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.
