October 12, 2024: Baldwin, LA 70514 Highland Baptist Christian Bears (New Iberia, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host West St. Mary Wolfpack (Baldwin, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Highland Baptist Christian improves its record to 5-12 on the season. The Bears travel to Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA) to encounter the Eagles in a Division V District 3 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-11. Vermilion Catholic won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Abbeville (Abbeville, LA)
The Wolfpack now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centerville for a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. West St. Mary will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
