In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Samson Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Highland Home Flying Squadron.

The Tigers (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Pike Liberal Arts was nudged by Brantley (Brantley, AL), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Flying Squadron play the Northside Methodist Academy Knights (Dothan, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12.
