California High School Volleyball - Lowell over Homestead
October 12, 2024: San Francisco, CA 94132 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lowell Cardinals (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), observed Lowell's volleyball team top Homestead by a count of 2-0.
The Cardinals (16-6) will now prepare for their contest against Galileo (San Francisco, CA). The Lions enter the Academic Athletic Association contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Galileo was knocked off by Immaculate Conception (San Francisco, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Mustangs battle the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza contest, on Monday, October 14. Homestead will attempt to move on its 22-7 season record. The Matadors enter the contest with a 18-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Mountain View (Mountain View, CA).
