California High School Volleyball - King/Drew over Santiago
October 12, 2024: Garden Grove, CA 92843 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Santiago Cavaliers (Garden Grove, CA), observed King/Drew's volleyball team top Santiago by a count of 2-0.
The Golden Eagles (18-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hawkins (Los Angeles, CA). The Hawks enter the Coliseum contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Hawkins was knocked off by Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Cavaliers meet the Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Santiago will attempt to move on its 6-14 season record. The Matadors enter the contest with a 7-11 record after their 3-1 league win over Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA).
