Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Nantucket tips Ludlow

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Nantucket Whalers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Ludlow Lions.

The Whalers (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA). The Red Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Frontier Regional edged Central (Springfield, MA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties (Williamstown, MA) in a Pioneer Valley - Western challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Ludlow will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Mounties come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA).
