Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) and the visiting Mountain View Prep Stars (Spartanburg, SC), observed Pickens's volleyball team hold off Mountain View Prep by a count of 2-1.

The Blue Flame (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Clover (Clover, SC). The Blue Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Clover got by Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Stars battle the First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12.
