October 12, 2024: Pine Island, MN 55963 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) and the visiting Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN), observed Pine Island's volleyball team top Park Center by a count of 2-0.
The Panthers (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Como Park was knocked off by Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Pirates battle the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers (Howard Lake, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12. Park Center will attempt to move on its 2-20 season record. The Lakers enter the contest with a 8-11 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN).
