The Philip Scotties volleyball squad (Philip, SD), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD)

With the win, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] improves its record to 13-9 on the season. The Battlers host Ipswich (Ipswich, SD) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 15-5. Ipswich lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Faulkton (Faulkton, SD)

The Scotties now own a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wolsey-Wessington for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. Philip will encounter a Warbirds squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Warner (Warner, SD). The Warbirds record now stands at 16-5.
