October 12, 2024: San Mateo, CA 94401 Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wilcox improves its record to 12-16 on the season. The Chargers travel to Hill (San Jose, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 17-7. Hill lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA)
The Bearcats now own a 1-25 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilroy for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. San Mateo will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-15.
