October 13, 2021: Surprise, AZ 85374 The Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) football routed the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), 48-6 in Wednesday's league bout.
In their next game, the Monsoon face the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) in a bout, on Wednesday, October 20. Valley Vista will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 42-27 league loss to Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).
The Fighting Lobos (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Stallions enter the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Shadow Ridge was overwhelmed by O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ), 35-12, in a non-league bout.
