Texas High School Football - Edison held off by Highlands
October 13, 2022: San Antonio, TX 78210 Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 12-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Highlands improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Lanier (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Voks in a 5A-2 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, October 21. The Voks come into the test with a record of 2-5. Lanier lost 22-19 in their recent league test against Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX)
With the loss, Edison drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Mules in a 5A-2 Region IV District 14 test on Saturday, October 22. The Mules come into the test with a record of 6-1. Alamo Heights won 48-0 in their recent league test against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX)
