The Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) football routed the visiting Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX), 57-7 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 16 bout, on Friday, October 28. Veterans Memorial will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record.
