October 13, 2022: McLean, VA 22101 Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), 52-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Langley improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Saxons travel to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to battle the Statesmen in a test on Thursday, October 20. The Statesmen come into the test with a record of 0-5. George C. Marshall lost 41-7 in their recent non-league test against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)
With the loss, Wakefield drops to 0-8 on the campaign.
