Kansas High School Soccer - Maize nudges Northwest
October 13, 2022: Maize, KS 67101 Maize Eagles (Maize, KS) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Maize will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Railroaders enter the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Eisenhower (Goddard, KS).
The Grizzlies now have a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East for a Greater Wichita challenge on Tuesday, October 18. Northwest will confront a Aces team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to North (Wichita, KS). The Aces record now stands at 12-3.
