California High School Volleyball - Steele Canyon over Liberty Charter
October 13, 2022: Spring Valley, CA 91978 Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Liberty Charter Lions (Lemon Grove, CA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont Valley match, on Monday, October 17. Steele Canyon will attempt to advance on its 7-19 season record. The Matadors come into the match with a 2-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA).
With the loss, Liberty Charter drops to 13-15 on the campaign. The Lions travel to High Tech CV (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Bruins in a Frontier -Summit match on Tuesday, October 18. The Bruins come into the match with a record of 2-14. High Tech CV lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA)
