October 13, 2023: River Ridge, LA 70123 The Acadiana Rams football team (Lafayette, LA), was beaten 28-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA)
The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA). The Purple Knights come into the 5A District 9 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Augustine was beaten by Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA), 21-14, in a league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southside for a 5A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 20. Acadiana will meet a Sharks team coming off a 38-14 league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 6-1.
