Akron Rams (Akron, CO) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO), 36-28 in a league test.

With the triumph, Akron improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Merino (Merino, CO) to confront the Rams in a A-8 Plains (8 Man) test on Friday, October 20. The Rams come into the test with a record of 3-4. Merino won 58-6 in their recent league test against Caliche (Iliff, CO)

With the loss, Sedgwick County drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Haxtun (Haxtun, CO) to confront the Fightin' Bulldogs in a A-8 Plains (8 Man) test on Friday, October 20. The Fightin' Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-0. Haxtun won 48-0 in their recent league test against Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO)
