The Mt. Diablo Red Devils football team (Concord, CA), was tipped 49-47 in Friday's league challenge with the host Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA)

The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Wolves come into the Diablo - Valley challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Ygnacio Valley was tipped by Concord (Concord, CA), 32-6, in a league challenge.

The Red Devils now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Benicia for a Diablo - Foothill challenge on Friday, October 20. Mt. Diablo will meet a Panthers team coming off a 49-7 league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
