In Friday's non-league match, the host New London-Spicer Wildcats football squad scored a big 62-12 victory over the Apollo Eagles.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN) in a Skyway - Copper match, on Monday, October 16. New London-Spicer will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 38-8 league win over Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN).
