In Friday's non-league match, the host Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors football squad scored a big 46-13 victory over the Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 27. Southwest Georgia Academy will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record.

The Cavaliers (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA). The Buccaneers enter the GIAA AA Region 4 match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Briarwood Academy routed Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA), 28-9, in a non-league match.
