Kentucky High School Football - Bracken County felled by Owen County
October 13, 2023: Owenton, KY 40359 The Bracken County Polar Bears football team (Brooksville, KY), was knocked off 14-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY)
The Rebels (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats come into the 2A District 5 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Walton-Verona knocked off Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY), 31-20, in a league challenge.
The Polar Bears now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beechwood for a 2A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 20. Bracken County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 49-0 league win over Carroll County (Carrollton, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
