The Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) football routed the host South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), 68-8 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, October 20. Brewer will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 42-0 league loss to Aledo (Aledo, TX).
