October 13, 2023: Platte, SD 57369 The Canistota Hawks football team (Canistota, SD), was knocked off 28-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD)
The Black Panthers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Great Plains Lutheran knocked off Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD), 28-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Centerville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19. Canistota will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 34-14 non-league win over Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-4.
