The Carver Panthers football team (Atlanta, GA), was tipped 20-15 in Friday's league challenge with the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA)

The Patriots (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA). The Saints come into the AAA Region 5 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Cedar Grove nipped Douglass (Atlanta, GA), 41-0, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglass for a AAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 20. Carver will meet a Astros team coming off a 41-0 league loss to Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA). The Astros record now stands at 5-3.
