In Friday's league game, the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) football team smashed the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), by a final score of 65-6.

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Person (Roxboro, NC). The Rockets come into the 3A Central game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Person was trounced by Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 34-20, in a league game.

The Fighting Red Wolves now hold a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williams for a 3A Central game on Friday, October 20. Cedar Ridge will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 24-7 league win over Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.
