The Rouse Raiders football squad scored 49 points and restricted the host Chaparral Bobcats to 36 in the Raiders league victory on Friday.

The Raiders now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host University for a 5A-2 Region III District 11 contest on Friday, October 20. Rouse will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 27-23 league win over Elgin (Elgin, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.

Coming up next, the Bobcats encounter the Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX) in a 5A-2 Region III District 11 contest, on Friday, October 20. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 27-22 league loss to Belton (Belton, TX).
