Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), 45-7 in a league test.

With the triumph, Coal City improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Coalers travel to Manteno (Manteno, IL) to battle the Panthers in a Illinois Central Eight test on Friday, October 20. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 4-4. Manteno lost 56-13 in their recent league test against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL)

With the loss, Herscher drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Peotone (Peotone, IL) to battle the Blue Devils in a Illinois Central Eight test on Friday, October 20. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 5-3. Peotone won 40-0 in their recent league test against Lisle (Lisle, IL)
