The Covenant Day Lions thwarted the visiting Orangewood Christian Rams football team by a count of 34-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Covenant Day upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Lions host High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a NCISAA Big 6 outing on Friday, October 27. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 7-1.

With the loss, Orangewood Christian moves to 3-4 on the season. The Rams host Legacy Charter (Ocoee, FL) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, October 20. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Legacy Charter won 7-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bell Creek Academy (Riverview, FL)
