The Delta Eagles football team (Muncie, IN), was beaten 38-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN)

The Dragons (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against New Castle (New Castle, IN). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, New Castle was beaten by Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN), 44-20, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norwell for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 20. Delta will meet a Knights team coming off a 28-22 league win over Columbia City (Columbia City, IN). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.
