North Carolina High School Football - East Wilkes knocked off by Starmount
October 13, 2023: Ronda, NC 28670 Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), 35-6 in a league test.
With the triumph, Starmount improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Rams host South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to battle the Sauras in a Northwest 1A test on Friday, October 20. The Sauras come into the test with a record of 2-7. South Stokes won 28-21 in their recent league test against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)
With the loss, East Wilkes drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to battle the Trojans in a Northwest 1A test on Friday, October 20. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-4. Alleghany won 24-21 in their recent league test against Elkin (Elkin, NC)
