October 13, 2023: Hackensack, NJ 07601 In Friday's non-league game, the Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) football team were victorious over the visiting Eastside Ghosts (Paterson, NJ), by a score of 14-3.
The Comets (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Passaic (Passaic, NJ). The Indians come into the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Passaic was knocked off by Millburn (Millburn, NJ), 16-13, in a non-league game.
The Ghosts now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Passaic County Tech for a Super - Freedom Blue game on Thursday, October 19. Eastside will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-7 non-league win over East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-0.
