The Elizabeth Forward Warriors football squad scored 49 points and restricted the host South Allegheny Gladiators to 14 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greensburg Salem for a WPIAL AAA Interstate battle on Friday, October 20. Elizabeth Forward will play a Golden Lions squad coming off a 46-12 league loss to Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 1-7.

Coming up next, the Gladiators play the Ringgold Rams (Monongahela, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. South Allegheny will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 0-8 record after their 71-0 league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA).
