October 13, 2023: Flemingsburg, KY 41041 In Friday's league game, the Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) football team were victorious over the visiting West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY), by a score of 36-7.
The Panthers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Wildcats come into the 3A District 6 game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Bath County was knocked off by Russell (Russell, KY), 38-8, in a league game.
The Comets now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewis County for a 3A District 6 game on Friday, October 20. West Carter will battle a Lions team coming off a 38-6 league loss to East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Lions record now stands at 2-6.
