In Friday's league match, the visiting North Lincoln Knights football squad scored a big 50-14 victory over the Foard Tigers.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) in a 3A Western Foothills match, on Friday, October 20. North Lincoln will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 51-27 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC).

The Tigers (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes enter the 3A Western Foothills match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Hickory routed West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 51-27, in a league match.
