The Jaybirds (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Motley County (Matador, TX). The Matadors come into the 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 5 (6 Man) challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Motley County trounced Guthrie (Guthrie, TX), 51-6, in a league challenge.
The Jaguars now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aspermont for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 5 (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 20. Guthrie will meet a Hornets team coming off a 52-0 league win over Patton Springs (Afton, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 5-3.
