The Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) football routed the host Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN), 56-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 19. Wayzata will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Tornadoes enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 44-10 league win over Osseo (Osseo, MN).

The Royals (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against Edina (Edina, MN). The Hornets enter the non-league bout with a 4-3 record.
