The McComb Tigers (McComb, MS) football routed the visiting Lanier Bulldogs (Jackson, MS), 61-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Wingfield Falcons (Jackson, MS) in a 4A Region 6 bout, on Friday, October 20. McComb will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 1-7 record after their 26-22 league loss to Richland (Richland, MS).

The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Murrah (Jackson, MS). The Mustangs enter the non-league bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Murrah was overwhelmed by Madison Central (Madison, MS), 35-0, in a non-league bout.
