The Lowry Buckaroos thwarted the visiting South Tahoe Vikings football team by a count of 38-20 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Lowry upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Buckaroos travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to encounter the Greenwave in a 3A Northern outing on Friday, October 20. The Greenwave go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Churchill County lost 13-8 in their recent league outing against Elko (Elko, NV)

With the loss, South Tahoe moves to 1-7 on the season. The Vikings host Truckee (Truckee, CA) to encounter the Wolverines in a 3A Northern outing on Thursday, October 19.
